Tatum Holtzlander

Speech Language Therapist
Brief info

Hello! My name is Tatum Holtzlander. I was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana. I grew up participating in choir where we were heavily tested on vocal anatomy and taught how to alter our voice to project sound. This was the beginning of my interest in voice production, which sparked my curiosity in the field of speech pathology. I love learning about the human body, especially the part that brings the most joy to my life—the human voice.

I pursued my education at Indiana University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences, along with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. This foundation prepared me for further studies at Baylor University, where I completed my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

During my time at Baylor, I gained clinical experience working with a wide range of clients facing challenges in feeding, speech and language, pragmatics, and literacy. My internship was at Indianapolis Public Schools, where I provided therapy to students aged 3-12, focusing on individual education plans and speech intervention programs.

Currently, I provide speech and language services in a school environment and deliver speech, language, and feeding therapy at Mini Minds. I have completed specialized training in feeding therapy, including the AEIOU approach, which emphasizes responsive feeding techniques. Additionally, I have participated in ongoing education courses to enhance my knowledge of treatments for feeding, speech, and oral functions for pediatric patients.

As a speech pathologist, I am committed to providing high-quality, goal-directed care that empowers my clients and builds their confidence in communication.

When I’m not working, I love warm weather, going on walks, playing pickleball, music, dance, and rooting for IU basketball.
