Carlee Long

Occupational Therapy Graduate Intern
Brief info

I am currently in the Grand Valley State University Master of Science occupational therapy program. My minor in undergrad was child development which is when it solidified that I wanted to work with kids. Each kid is so unique and brings the opportunity for learning and growth. My previous placements include early intervention, a psychosocial placement with adults with developmental disabilities, and an outpatient neurorehabilitation clinic for pediatrics and adults. My special interest includes feeding, TBI, trauma, vision, and developmental disabilities.
During my time at Mini Minds, I will be living with my twin sister. My sister and I are extremely close and this placement gave us the opportunity to live together one last time. When I am not in class or working, I enjoy hiking, trying new foods, traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to learning and growing as an OT from all the amazing staff at Mini Minds.
